Tim Bourne
Tim Bourne is the principal of Bourne Lawyers and is recognised nationally as one of South Australia's leading employment lawyers. Employers often think they are in a position of power over their employees. Tim likes to restore the balance, to make sure his clients feel empowered to deal with their employers on an equal footing.
Tim completed a Bachelor's degree in Law at the University of Adelaide in February 1979 and is admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia. He worked as a lawyer with Stanley & Partners from January 1980 until establishing his own firm in 2000. Tim has now been achieving excellent results for his clients in a timely and cost-effective manner for more than 40 years.
In addition to an extensive solicitor's practice, Tim continues a high level of Counsel and court work.
Tim was a Deputy Presiding Member of the Parole Board of South Australia for 15 years. He is also a current member of the Law Society of South Australia, the Law Society Medico-Legal Group, the Australian Labour Law Association, the Society of Labour Lawyers SA and the Industrial Relations Society of South Australia.
